Is there a way to rename houses?
I have a couple of houses I won't sell, because I created them with friends or just love revisiting them. But having quite a lot of houses by now I sometimes confuse them and have to visit each one to find the one I wanted to visit. Is there a way to rename them, so I know which one is which? :-)

I just keep them and neveer sell they will stay in your owned houses tab. You can go visit them anytime.
Go the gate see them there. They are not that hard to recognise :)

When you have several versions of the same house, yes it CAN become difficult to recognize (i.e. distinguish one from another).

I bought the yacht and turned it into my office, then decided I wanted to buy a second yacht to try out some different ideas for the decor. Every time I'd go to the "gate" (boat) to go to the second yacht, it would just take me back to the same yacht I was already on (1st yacht). The only way to get to the other one was to use the laptop because the game didn't know which was which.

After you've sold all the houses at least once (finished the game), you can buy as many of each house as you like. If you buy 5 of the "Unsatisfactory Effect" houses, you will have "Unsatisfactory Effect" listed 5 times when you go to the gate, and you won't know which is which. That is what the OP is asking.
