I heard this game is short/overpriced

Just like Wolfenstein the old blood, $20 for a short game (this game should have been put together with the Wolfenstein the new order since both are not that long)

it's a 9 hour game for 60 buger dollars lol

I think Praey now got enough patches that fixed all game breaking bugs, but unfortunately it's still infected with Denuvo Anti Consumer, so it needs at least one patch more before i consider purchasing it.

Wolfenstein II is the other side around, it isn't infected with Denuvo Anti Consumer but apparently didn't get enough patches yet to purchase it.

Fixed
All three of the games it's behind are literally three of the biggest franchises going right now? Even if we ignore that, something that might affect it is that it's suffering the same fate as Titanfall 2 did last year. Stuffed in a month full of releases with people who don't have the time or money to play all these games. The political aspect might have something to do with it as well. Though, from what I've played, I fail to see the cause of outrage.

We are 1 week after release and assasin creed origins who hasnt cracked yets sold 225.000
http://steamspy.com/app/582160
wolfestein who got cracked sold 153000 http://steamspy.com/app/612880

But the big winner is middle earth shadow of war who has sold 400.000+ in a week http://steamspy.com/app/356190 http://habotchi.com/middle-earth-shadow-of-war-sells-400000-units-on-steam-in-first-week-e32017-e3-gaming/
What do you have to say about it?

It performs badly on PC at launch and I think the PC market is a large part of this franchise's customer base, or at least its word-of-mouth. Its customer base is being pulled aside for other games. If anybody is a Nintendo fan, they are playing Odyssey while waiting for Xenoblade 2. Anybody into shooters has CoD WW2 and Battlefront 2. AC fans have their fix, etc. Also the game will be 24.99 at Best Buy on Black Friday which is when I'll get it. I don't think no multiplayer has anything to do with it and its sad that's what people are saying. I doubt many people bought Doom for the multiplayer. :P7:

then they decided that was good enough and made half a game, didnt put it though QA, then released it anyways

actual shooter players saw too many red flags, even if they wanted this game to be good

can you cite some quotes so i can check that out? i highly doubt they developed this game in one year since he became elected and have not been working on it since new order came out years ago.

the one off the top of my head is that a reporter asked them if the plot would make people uncomfortable by mirroring real politics, and their answer was they "wanted people to feel uncomfortable"

also, they *might* have developed this in a year or under. would explain the bugs, the lack of content, and no final boss fight

Their games do make me feel uncomfortable a lot despite being good and regardless of current politics. In the first one you enter a concentration camp undercover and helpless people are forced to death throughout, How can a game about Nazi ruling America be not uncomfortable? it's very uncomfortable indeed. People are talking about alt-right and nazis, etc. and this game comes out, of course people will draw similarities. The only thing they did was make fun of alt-right in a tweet. Since people love going to extremes especially on the internet, they somehow align Trump with alt-right and acted as if Machine Games insulted Trump, and in effect Republicans in general. It's reaching imo. Wolfenstein is always about killing Nazis and this game is no different, doesn't matter who made it or what their political views are, even if they do try to draw similarities to current events, doesn't mean players have to, just enjoy the story in the game. Is anybody going to play this and say screw Trump if they didn't before? No, zero chance of that happening.

Only very big companies develop games in one year likd ubisoft did with the previous assasins creed games. Small companies like Nethemrlams , Tango game works , Monolith, Rocksteady e.t.c takes 2 or 3 years just for one game. That why Middle earth shadow of war, Evil within 2 and Wolfestein new colosus all released 3 years after the previous ones or that why Nethermlams releases a new game each 2 years(mortal kombat 9 in 2011 injusrice in 2013 mortal kombat 10 in 2015 injustice 2 in 2017 e.t.c.).

Yes, I agree, that's why I said I highly doubt they didn't start working on it right after New Order.

I dont think too many people are big on the wolfenstein series unless they've played the previous games. And the advertising campaign didn't display anything interesting, new, or unique to draw in new players. Only reason I got it, was because I was a previous wolfenstein fan. No way I'd pay for $80 for this without having been a fan previously.
