Hey all,

The team is pushing through a hotfix patch to the beta branch of Steam for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. This includes the following fixes:

Patch notes:

- Resolved an issue affecting the deployment of full game files in Japan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia

- Re-enabled Async compute for AMD users (requires AMD driver version 17.10.3, linked below)

- Temporarily disabled Async compute on 1080ti until driver fix is in

- Re-enabled Steam Overlay

In order to install a patch on the Steam public beta branch, right click the game in your Steam library. Go to properties, then the "Betas" tab. In the dropdown, choose public beta as your branch.

Can you add OpenGL 4.5 support to the game? As a Nvidia user, Doom (which uses the same engine) works better for me on OpenGL (In higher resolutions which are not CPU bound I'm getting better FPS when using OpenGL). The engine was written with OpenGL so I guess it shouldn't be a problem.

BTW, what does Deferred Rendering change?

Does this also fix the 'Message type not defined' error message during loading of any save game?

Or the game randomly hanging and then consecutively losing the progress that was made in the challenges tiers due to having to force quit?

Or the crash dump error?

Or not being able to Alt+Tab?

Or the 'Perks' portion not counting actions when you complete some?

Or/and the black/white squares appearing on Neu York's skyline?

Didn't fix my video hang. Game hung my system multiple times when I configured it for my 4K TV. Unplugged the TV and now the game displays splash screens, brightness setup, and then a blank splash screen (with background music playing) and screen control only allowing me to exit the game. Windows 10, 6900K, 128GB ram, GTX1080 Ti, latest graphics driver. Safe mode no different.

What about the choice of various localizations? I can not play with this terrible Russian localization!

Can we get a max fps command or in-game option to cap FPS? Would like to keep it below 144 FPS for gsync to stay activated. Game runs great, runs at 160+FPS, which is some good work on MG's part.

All I want is a proper ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ full-screen mode, so I can use my GYSNC monitor as intended. The screen tear is killing me. Evil Within 2 was the same, though at least that had a framerate cap in-game. This is bare-minimum stuff and really annoying me right now.

Try this: right click on the game -> Properties -> Language tab and select what you need
