A couple of baby questions
This sounds so sexist... I now have a wide and 1 daughter. Should I keep my wife pregnant all the time and have as many babies as I can?
How does the game deal with this? I don't really need her to be a worker.

What upgrades do I need for my house for a few kids, or do I need to be thinking about purchasing another house?

And what happened to my wife's house when I married her? I can't figure out what happened to it, or where she lived.
I went back to an earlier save and she doesn't seem to have a home, just 2 businesses.

Sorry, I have 1 non baby question.
Will there be other towns to visit in the future, or is there a way to get there now. I see another starting area, but can't seem to find a way to get there.

Children can continue on your legacy when you die.

No upgrades required for additional kids.

Wife probably didn't have a house and lived in the bunkhouse. There could be many reasons for this.

Each map has multiple towns that can be travelled to at will, and later on you will be able to interact with other maps more.

Depends how you play, if you are burning down rivals businesses to take over then eventually if you have too many kids they might end up owning the other businesses and you have to start targetting them.
Until you die, they can be competitors.

Interesting. Speaking of your kids, has anymore thought been given to the idea of auto-boosting your rep with your children when they get old enough to move out of the baby cot? It seems reasonable that you should start at least at green with your own kids and not have to chat them up a bunch like total strangers.

Fair point!

I agree. I'd think anything your kids owned, would be part of your family too. That's how it would be in real life.

Well, not necessarily. That depends on the culture. I mean, here in America my parents don't own my house or get money from my job. They have their own house and their own income completely separate from mine. But there is another point to consider. I don't know if Stardog is still thinking about allowing us to lock our homes in the game, but if he does I think part of the benefit of family would be having access to each other's homes. Maybe it could even be adjusted to allow all family members (including grandparents/kids and siblings) to sleep in each other's houses. Like, if I'm in another town selling stuff, and it gets dark. Maybe I don't want to walk all the way home that night. But if I have grown kids living there, it seems reasonable I could enter their house and sleep in a spare bed if they have one. Thoughts?

That sounds reasonable.
I was talking about a family owned business. Back when... you grew up and continued your father's business, and so does your children. In fact, in Biblical times, your family name told a lot about what you did. "Who is your father", says who you are, and what you do for a living.

Here in the US, and in other countries, we have changed. I don't do the same thing my father did.

WHen you die one of your kids continue on as you. But until then they have their own lives.
