Do I get Sudden Strike 1-3 only as pre-purchaser via Steam, or can I get this separately as well?
You can for sure also buy Sudden Strike 1-3 separately.
Additionally, if you buy Sudden Strike 2, “Resource War” will also be included and when buying Sudden Strike 3, “Last Stand” will be included.

Will multiplayer be available for Sudden Strike 1-3?
Sudden Strike 1 and 2 will have functioning (TCP/IP bound) multiplayer.
As Sudden Strike 3 only offered multiplayer via gamespy, which has been shut down, there will be no multiplayer available.

What will be included in the Sudden Strike games on Steam, like in e.g. Sudden Strike 2 Gold?
Sudden Strike 1 Gold includes:

• Sudden Strike 1 - Forever-Version
  
• Total War map pack
  Sudden Strike 2 Gold includes:
  
• Sudden Strike 2
  
• Total Victory map pack
  
• Sudden Strike 2 - Resource War

Known issues

My game does not have sound or only partial sound (no music)!
A known issue that can be prevented by making some changes to the registry. However, changes to the registry are done at your own risk.
First of all, it would be wise to set a system recovery point under Start\Options\Update and Security\Recovery
Then, do the following:
a) Right-click the Windows-Button and click “execute”. Enter “regedit”
b) Find this path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio\PolicyConfig\PropertyStore\
c) Delete the content of the whole folder (PropertyStore).

I cannot change the resolution of the game.
Resolution will only change once you start a mission. Additionally, in Sudden Strike 2 and Sudden Strike: Resource War, the resolution button in the options menu is faulty. Instead of left-clicking it with the mouse, you need to right-click it to change the resolution.

In Sudden Strike 2, the game crashes when I start the US campaign.
We could avoid the crashes on 4 different systems here by starting the game (…\Steam\steamapps\common\Sudden Strike 2 Gold\code\Release\game_exe.exe) in compatibility mode (XP service pack 2) and as administrator.
After applying the settings, the game should be started as usual via Steam.

Multiplayer in Sudden Strike 3 does not work.
As Multiplayer in Sudden Strike 3 was based on Gamespy and that service is not available anymore, we do not have any means to get the multiplayer running again. Sorry.
