Exciting Updates for House Party - HOUSE PARTY激动人心的更新来啦！8/6/17

Hey Party Animals!

Just wanted to pass on some info direct from our lead developer, as I know many of you will be interested in what steps we've been taking to address the bugs and feature requests you've submitted, and when you will see new content coming your way.

So, to keep this brief:

• Eek! Games, thanks to the support of every one of our customers, has been able to on-board new staff recently. We now have a full-time C#/Unity developer, a full-time 3D modeler, and a QA & Community Manager (myself) to supplement the lead developer...who was up the last few weeks was doing nearly everything solo or with the help of few friends/contracted folks. The lead dev will now be able to focus solely on moving forward with content updates, and in the future we hope to release these content updates at an increased pace and with fewer "Day One" issues.
  
  
• We have been sorting out workflow, payroll, and getting the two newest team members set up over the last few business days, but we are on track for a content update this month, along with numerous bug fixes. The bug fixes may come as part of a separate update towards the end of the month. Please continue bearing with us!
  
  
• I am working on a Chinese-Mandarin translation of the game, and we are also working on translating, or at least providing the tools for translation of other languages. These translations will most likely not come with voiced over dialogue for the foreseeable future. More on this on the Eek! forums: http://forum.eekllc.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1640
  
  
• Possibly the best for last...Eek! has been in talks to partner with Take One studios to improve character and scene animation across the board, and to look into the possibility of motion captured animation. If you are unfamiliar with their company, they have been involved in AAA titles such as Witcher 3, Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, and more!

Is the alpha release coming at the end of the month going to be on Steam at the same time?

Nevermind I found the answer.

Alpha versions are Patreon only. Beta versions go to Patreon first, and then Steam after testing is concluded.
