"Is it worth it?" That's going to be the big question. What, exactly, are you getting out of the Humble Monthly Bundle for Quake Champions right now?

Let's break it down:

Champions:
Ranger
BJ

BJ is a mildly popular hero thanks to his special of dual wielding. Ranger is overall fairly generic, and I almost never see him used. Not the greatest choices, not the worst. But they would normally cost 800 platinum each to buy. (You can get champions as legendary drops, but it's rare).

100 Platinum:
What can you buy with it?
*NOTHING* Minimum purchase right now is 200 for a couple very basic cosmetic bundles. Minimum platinum you can even buy is 500, at $4.99. So you're getting about a buck's worth here. And can do nothing with it.

50 shards:
What can you buy with it?
*NOTHING* Minimum shard purchase is 300 for "Uncommon" cosmetics. You're basically getting one dupe's worth of shards, if that.

2000 Favor:
What can you buy with it?
ONE single backpack (common loot box). With *ONE* random, generally common, cosmetic item.

If you already have the Champion Pack, and thus have the champions, what do you get for them?
~125 shards each. So, basically, if you already have the champions, you can buy ONE uncommon cosmetic, and one backpack for a basic cosmetic.

So, no, if you're looking to spend $12 on the Humble Monthly Bundle for this game entirely... it's really not worth it. Unless you are just that hard up to play the game on Steam, when it's already free elsewhere, without spending the $30 on the champion bundle.

It's supposed to be F2P, yes. You have to buy in to Early Access on Steam. The card game's portion really isn't any better than this side. So, basically, unless you're really hard up for ESO, this incentive isn't very good. Who knows what the other games will end up being, but right now, this is pretty bad looking.

Horrible deal. Could have just made it something like 3 Champions (+ Ranger as a Starter), 500 Plat, 600 Shards and 10000 Favor. People should at least be able to play duel off the start with this pack.

Why do people keep mis-informing? They, Ranger costs nothing. When the global f2p is planned to start in steam aswell, Ranger is the player you will have without paying a dime and this means everyone has it unlocked. So the only thing you really get as champion from this bundle deal is BJ, since he is locked normally. But Ranger everyone has because he is the most all around playstyle suitable and thus they chose him to be the f2p champ as has been stated multiple times by id.

I've bought ~18 monthly bundles and have only played a tiny but of Rust from one of them.

I already have champions pack but I guess I'll be paying for this monthly anyway simply because I don't know what the rest is. But 3/4 of it is usually bundled in short time on HB for less again.

Hmm ok so just 1 Hero is worth $5 oks. And no not just for Quake.

$1 of platinum and $10 of champion in game but thew champions pack is much cheaper and not everyone will buy in game gear + whatever early access it worth.

Yeah lol .. The way bethesda is going lately I really wouldn't be suprised if that is intentional. They created the problem, and I refuse ( i'm stubborn like that ) to reward them by buying via their store page. I will look into removing the HB from my steam in due time and see if I can buy then.

My intention was to get the championspack when ranked matches was implemented ( which they once said would be before the end of the year ).

I bought this after free playing with Bethesda account. How I can unlock other champions in future, if Steam "means" what full pack is purchased?
