GPU overheating?

Am I the only one for whom the GPU seems to be quite hot on this game? 85c on memory? Evga 2080ti FTW3 ultra

Mine stays in the low 70s playing this game maxed out with 200% resolution @1080p

limit framerate via vsync. your gpu will stay quiet and cool.

i'm on 3440x1440,
My framerate is caped at 144fps like my screen but my gpu was around 70c on the gpu main sensors but memory temps sensors were higher than i'm used to

A functional GPU should never overheat at full load. The problem is never the game at this point. Now a game can be badly optimized but if something overheats you should look at your hardware and not blame the game.

Ah well i had the fps cap but vsync was not enabled, forgot to do it after reinstalling drivers. Let's see.

Well i run red dead 2 or assassins creed with lower temps than that so.. i was surprised

Well with vsync on i'm at 60c better but capping fps in rtss should not have same result ?

mine is know to run hot.. i was considering installing an hybrid kit but it looks like a pain in the ass to do.

How come that games makes my gpu runn hotter than on assassins creed or red dead?
