$1 an hour
I wont buy a game unless I get at least an hour for every dollar I spend, with rare exceptions. From what I can tell this game is 2-4 hours. Which means at most i'd pay for this is $4.99

I use the £1 an hour rule too. I paid just over £11 and got 3 hours of amazing fun, but to be honest, I feel deflated and saddened at reaching the end. I want more!

You must hate movies...

a movie and a game are different experiences.

You demand to be entertained a $1 an hour. You are like the worlds cheapest Caesar.

Thanks for the advise, I've the same opinion as you.

I won't pay more of 5 dollars for it ^^

Jesus, again this usless topic <.< If the game is to expensive to you, then just don't buy it ?!

That’s interesting. Never heard of the $1 rule.

Are they? Unless I'm mistaken, you are arguing that $1 per hour of entertainment is your criteron for whether that entertainment is "worth" it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

By that standard you'd never pay more than $2 for a film. Maybe $3 for a fancy director's cut of the godfather or something.

Considering it's absolute meaningless nonsense, you're probably better off.

Like if everything should be standardized, and unified.
Games like this need to be supported because they are atypical and unique.
this one worthes every cents.

It's sticking to some totally nonsensical and oversimplified theory because you can't be arsed to examine each film/game/whatever on its more relevant merits than length of time killed. If the only reason you're engaging with any cultural activity or entertainment is to kill time, just go play bejewed or something, because I dare say you're missing the point.

Agree with OP, the game's great, but it should cost no more than $2. Devs became really lazy these days.
Scrimbo May 21, 2018 @ 12:47am
So after tax and after steam takes it cut for being the distribution platform then how much of that money do you think is left for the developer? There's nothing 'lazy' about spending years of your life making a game only to ask for some fair renumeration at the end, the game took 2 hours to finish not 2 hours to make

I'm going to take an educated guess and say that the OP has a heck of a lot of free time and almost no gaming budget.

If you're here complaining about it, it's clear you don't consider the sole worth of this game to be the amount of entertainment you can get out of it for a certain sum of money. Otherwise you'd be off playing Skyrim, or Farcry, or PoE:Deadfire, or countless other games that provide 60+ hours of entertainment.

If you actually value this game for what it is, not how long it is, but simply can't afford it... no problem. But you'll have to wait for a sale.

Don't sit here though and tell these developers that all the skill and artistry they've poured into this work over the last 3 years of their lives isn't worth more than a pittance. That's just downright insulting.
