Problem: Cannons are not firing even though firing graphics and sounds are playing. Cannons rotate and aim, produce firing smoke, firing sound, and even target ship hit sounds are played. However, target ship suffers no damage and ammunition count does not change. This can happen even when the firing ship is completely undamaged. is there any tutorial so a person can figure how to play?

Is there no way to change the font size? I play the game at 1920x1080 on a 46-inch television which is several feet away. The font can be read, but with more strain than I find tolerable. I tried dropping the resolution, but it appears it just kicks down to a smaller font and, of course, everything is blurrier due to interpolation to native resolution. It doesn't appear there is anything in place to consider this, so it appears I will have to refund the game as it is playable for me....
