New Speed Duel Starter Sets Available in the Shop!

Two new Speed Duel Starter Sets were recently added to the Shop, each featuring a powerful card that is on the Limited 3 List! The Starter Set: UR “Crackdown” Bundle and Starter Set: UR “Compulsory Evacuation Device” Bundle allow Duelists to easily obtain two of the most powerful cards currently available in Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS. Check out what’s included in these two bundles, and take a look at some of the best uses for each of the two featured cards!

Each of the two new Speed Duel Starter Sets include the featured card, a Game Mat based on the featured card, and 10 booster packs of the latest Speed Duel BOX. Both of the featured cards – Crackdown and Compulsory Evacuation Device – are frequently used in competitive Decks for PvP Dueling. That makes the new Starter Sets excellent purchases for Duelists looking for additional copies of these two powerful cards.

Crackdown is a Continuous Trap Card that lets you take target a face-up monster your opponent controls and take control of it. When that monster leaves the field, Crackdown is destroyed. While you control a monster stolen by Crackdown, it can’t attack or activate effects. But there are still lots of other moves you can make by using that monster. You can use it for a Tribute Summon or use it as an Xyz Material, Link Material, Synchro Material, and more! In addition, there are some Skills, including the Altergeist Overwrite and Barian Battlemorph! The Barians’ White Shield Skills that let you trade any monster on your field for one that is in the Deck’s theme. Combo these Skills with Crackdown, and you’ll be able to immediately get rid of the monster you take with Crackdown and replace it with an even more useful one. Crackdown has become the choice Limited 3 card for many Duelists in the PvP Arena.

Compulsory Evacuation Device is a Normal Trap Card with a simple but powerful effect. It lets you target a monster on the field and return that target to the hand. Targeting a monster that was Summoned from the Extra Deck will allow Compulsory Evacuation Device to send that monster back to the Extra Deck, immediately getting it off the field. Monsters that can protect themselves from being destroyed are vulnerable to Compulsory Evacuation Device, and monsters with effects that activate if they’re destroyed or sent to the Graveyard won’t activate their effects if they’re returned to the Extra Deck by Compulsory Evacuation Device instead. That makes Compulsory Evacuation Device a powerful card against monsters like Stardust Dragon, Number 102: Star Seraph Sentry, and El Shaddoll Winda. In a pinch, you can also use Compulsory Evacuation Device to return your own monster to your hand. That can allow you to protect it from an opponent’s card effect, or simply give you another opportunity to Summon that monster and use its effect.

Crackdown and Compulsory Evacuation Device are two of the most powerful Trap Cards available in Speed Duels. The new Speed Duel Starter Sets make it easy for Duelists to obtain 1 more copy of each.
