Tech Update: Curse of Dread!
The Curse of Dread Mini BOX was just released last week, and although it contains lots of cards that are best used in a dedicated Zombie Deck, it also has cool tech cards that can fit into a variety of Decks. Check out some of the versatile tech cards that you can get in the Curse of Dread Mini BOX!

1.) Plaguespreader Zombie

The Level 2 Tuner, Plaguespreader Zombie, was used in lots of different Decks in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME, and now it’s available in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links! If Plaguespreader Zombie is in your Graveyard, you can place a card from your hand on the top of your Deck to Special Summon it, as long as you banish it when it leaves the field. In essence, you get two Synchro Summons out of each Plaguespreader Zombie – one when you Normal Summon it to the field and Tune it with a monster, and another when you Special Summon it to the field and Tune it once more. Plaguespreader Zombie facilitates Synchro Summons and allows you to smoothly perform multiple Synchro Summons in a single turn thanks to the ease with which it can be Summoned.

Although Plaguespreader Zombie works in all sorts of Decks, it may still be best in Zombie Decks. In those Decks, you can easily send it to the Graveyard with Gozuki or Samurai Skull, and use it to Synchro Summon Zombie-type monsters like Doomkaiser Dragon and Revived King Ha Des.

2.) The Fabled Catsith

The Level 1 Tuner, The Fabled Catsith, is a versatile card that can be useful in many situations. When The Fabled Catsith is discarded to the Graveyard, you get to select and destroy any face-up card on the field. Popular cards in PvP Dueling, including Snipe Hunter and Koa’ki Meiru Ice, have strong synergy with The Fabled Catsith, since they can discard The Fabled Catsith to activate their effects, and the Catsith can take down a card on the field in the process. As a Tuner, The Fabled Catsith can also be combined with a non-Tuner to Synchro Summon the monster you need in a pinch.

3.) Beast King Barbaros

Beast King Barbaros is a Level 8 monster with 3000 Attack Points that can be Normal Summoned without Tribute if you’re willing to drop its Attack Points down to 1900. This flexibility makes Beast King Barbaros useful regardless of whether your field is empty or full. In addition, Beast King Barbaros has an effect that lets you Tribute 3 monsters to Tribute Summon it, and if you do, it destroys all cards your opponent controls.

You can Normal Summon Beast King Barbaros without Tribute and then negate its effect with Forbidden Chalice or Axe of Fools to return its original Attack Points to 3000 (before it gains any Attack Point boost from your Spell Card). Beast King Barbaros also works well with another popular PvP card, World Legacy Clash, which will let you banish your Barbaros from the field until the End Phase and then return it with its full 3000 Attack Points regardless of whether or not monsters were Tributed to Summon it.

The Curse of Dread Mini BOX mostly focuses on the Vendread theme and other Zombie monsters, but also contains some cool tech cards that can fit into a bunch of different Decks. Which cards from the Curse of Dread Mini BOX are your favorites?

I don't mean to offend, but Curse of Dread is among the few Boxes I won't be spending any Gems on, to be honest.

I really love that "The 13th Grave" and "Mech Mole Zombie" got added (not joking), I'm interested in obtaining just those.

"Pyramid Turtle" is okay, if only so many overpowering Zombies weren't already added, though. It's going to start a huge spamming of those Zombies in PvP.

Like so many archetypes before them, I can't say I like Vendreads, they're too synergetic.
But, I admit "Revendread Origin" has a marvelous artwork, it's a true piece of art, really.

Don't mind me, though, keep up the good work.
