Anyone tried beating Urizen in chapter 8?

I got pretty close but its a way longer fight, maybe it leads to the same ending

its a tougher fight since you also have to fight his second form and its just the same ending as the prologue. If your doing it for fun then its entirely up to the player.

Yeah, I tried and it sounds like you did better than me. Suffered a lot of damage when he was sitting and didn't have too much health left, so when he stood up I could only survive for a little while...

Certainly something worth trying though.

Managed to do the prologue only, 8 is just too much at once.

A good trick you can use is dying to the first phase and reviving before the real fight

Almost did it (left him at about ~10-20% hp) and then he just spammed me with his tentacle attack which is almost impossible to dodge and does a lot of damage even on lowest difficulty, after an hour of tries I gave up

It leads to the same ending and style points, as if you defeated him in the prologue

Yeah if there was a separate achievement for it i would, but it's just really, REALLY stupid hard to do compared to prologue.

I'll take "got him to 25%" as a win.

You can, its the same as prologue but harder.

I tried but its very hard to pull off. The only move that he has that ♥♥♥♥♥ me over is that stupid tentacle move. I can't dodge that consistently.

So I just got to mission 8 as Vergil my first time playing on pc. Got pretty good at Vergil on console. Beat him first try. With Nero though yeah I could see it being really hard.

You get an alternate ending and unlock Son of Sparda mode instantly.
