[MOD] Multi Mod (Sprint, Energy Regen, Time, Unfreeze)
Mod Description:
This mod makes some improvements to the game as described in the Features section.
Currently a new sprint function entirely replaces the dash function, this works as you would normally expect out of sprint in any standard game.
The player also regenerates a small amount of energy while standing still, not tired and not doing anything. This does not make you stop needing to eat food, it simply gives you a little extra to work with if you wait for a little while and compliments the sprint function nicely.
These features have been carefully balanced to feel like they belong in the game without making it feel like you are cheating.

Sorry, the description and installation process isn't perfect in those older UMF versions.
I'm hard at work improving the user-friendlyness of UMF, a large part of which is coming in the next UMF v0.40 update, and an automated installer you just drop on your desktop and pick a game from a drop-down list is coming in the v0.45 update.

The mod and description will be updated for the v0.40 update which I hopefully can get out within the next few days.
You can always see the progress to the next update here: UMF Changelog[umodframework.com]

Thanks for the answer.

I guess I'll wait for next version then.
Would there be a way to have some kind of ini file accompanying your mod in order to tweak values.
I like the addition, to be fair, I feel this game needs like twice the amount of stamina.
Stamina + fast travel are to me the biggest missing features.
Don't know if it could be addable to your mod.

I made this mod during the alpha, don't use it on top of the release it won't work. Moreover the way of delivering this mod is not acceptable morally (and legally?) as it contains the devs code . This is why Lilin developed UMF.
For any curious, the archive contains guideline to modding which is complementary to step 4. of UMD doc https://umodframework.com/documentation.html#4

I feel like with the longer days there needs to be some balancing in other areas, namely the amount of energy the player has (should be higher/customizable) and the ability to skip ahead by being able to sleep even with full energy. Any chances of these things being added?

I just have the DLL in the version I have.
I'll wait for the next release to see.
I hope it will work.
Thanks.

The ini is generated automatically when the mod is first loaded into the game.

Guys, were you hit on the head too many times as children? This mod has settings, just use them and change it to whatever you want. I only use sprint and pause and disabled everything else for example. You guys seriously need to learn to read the readme of stuff you download. Hotkeys for settings are in the framework readme. I hate it when people just download and install stuff without any thoughts and then complain about stuff which would have taken them less than 30 seconds to figure out themself if they would actually read the readme included in those downloads... You guys are the same people who easily fall for scams and frauds because you just don't use your brain.

Did you drop your icecream cone? Kid, don't bring your negative ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in here because you're feeling bad that daddy shouted at you. The description never mentioned the ability to customize the mod in any way. UMF is an extremely small project, and yet you expect people to know how it works by default? Not only is your attitude in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, your head seems to be as well.

This interaction could also have gone something along these lines:

;Multiplier for day speed. Lower means slower.
;[Default: 1, Vanilla: 2, Type: Float]
DaySpeed=1

I assume Float indicates i'm free to use whatever number I wish? Is "Lower means slower" right? As you lowered the number in order for it to be faster. Edit: My bad, just misunderstood. Lower means slower = slower passage of time. Don't know why I confused this.
I'm also not sure on the math here, maybe i'm overthinking things. To gain a 50% increase of in-game speed over vanilla, would I simply need to set the number to 1.5?

And someone asked earlier how the increased day/night cycle lowers faith income. Well, it doesn't really lower income, but you'll spend a lot more in-game time between each sermon, effectively slowing down progress in the Faith department. It's one of the only resources directly tied to time that goes by, rather than time spend doing something.

Setting it to 1.5 is correct for a 50% increase.
Thanks, and thanks for the mod.
I think this mod has a lot of great charm. Would love to see it progress even more. I have a few things that I would like to see as well. Do you think you can add the ability for me to control a few things? Like in game configuration? More access to the rare materials? Great work on the mod nonetheless!
For update 1.023 set "DaySpeed=2"
seting this to 1 causes the day to skip to midday as soon as the day starts

Hmm, I think the latest update messed up the time stopping when menus are open
