Question on DLC
I bought the DLC but am already mid way through a game. If I jump on the ghost carriage and finish the DLC, does the game end or do I get whisked back to Dirtwater and get to finish the main game in one save file too?

The game does not end, when finishing the DLC. You are always able to jump between the normal game and the DLC, so you can finish both in one save file.

And just to be clear, the game doesn't end when you beat the main storyline, either. You watch a final cutscene, and then just go right back to where you were. You can even do more sidequests and then go re-watch the final cutscene to see how your subsequent actions changed things. (Finishing the DLC also adds a section to the final cutscene talking about what happens to Gun Manor in the future. It has at least three different variants, depending on what you do in the DLC)

That's good to hear! Because I'd hate to dive into the DLC and lose what I've put into the current save file so far (it's still my first playthrough). Thank you!

That's extremely useful to know, because I'm an achievement wh*re! I've spent a lot of my time beelining sidequests before I continue with main quests, but knowing I can finish the DLC, the main storyline and then still be able to backtrack for other achievements is good! Cheers!

beware though, the hard mode is pretty hard, I suggest figuring out where everything is, what everything gives, and what the hard mode does, but you do what you want

Hiya, yeah i've done hard mode and got all achievements including DLC. I also cannot stress how important it is to know the game mechanics inside out before trying hard mode, I did four playthroughs and got all other achievements first so that I had more knowledge before going into hard mode, and even in the first couple of attempts I came across a few setbacks that I never expected!
