What will be the price for this?

Will it cost as much as the PS4 version or will SE realize that PC users have a ton of other games out and try to be competitive in their pricing?

Also I hope this won't shun AMD users (IE game not rendering in certain parts like in WoFF and NiER Automata) like I'm sure FFXV is going to.

~~If they can offer a decent price (and than use that 20% discount) and assure AMD users they will be okay than I might buy it day 1.~~

Okay so turns out the port will be $50 which is $10 more than the PS4 version and offers nothing new so I'm going to say this has become a pass for me.

That was my mistake. I thought they were PC exclusives until someone told me it was on PS4 as well and that PC isn't offering anything new to justify the extra $10.

Yeah that's what I used to think too. Hell most big name companies know that PC is often either competitive or just overcrowded (Sometimes both) when it comes to games so you would think they would charge less than the console version, but I guess SE is just hoping that the FF name will carry enough salt to have people not only double dip, but pay $10 more than they would if they were to buy it on PS4 now (And that's not including the fact Amazon is selling it for like $29)

Knowing SE I doubt it will be on sale anytime soon and if it does I know it won't drop below 50% so I'll wait till the base price drops to $30 or $40 and just get it with a 50% off sale on Humble to get an extra 5% off.

You can get well over 100 hours out of this game and its all very well done.

If it was the same price as the PS4 version that wouldn't be too big a deal for me. If they had priced it lower I would be a little excited (with the exception of their ports being bad for AMD users), but charging more for the PC version than you are for the PS4 version is a bit much to me so I'll just wait. I get that it might be a great game and have hundreds of hours of content, but ♥♥♥♥ I've got a backlog to burn through while I wait for this to hit lower prices and if I have to wait a few years to get it for $20 than that's no big deal for me.

maybe it was the pricetag meant for FF15, so just a misstake.... i was expecting it mid feb, so maybe 12 fills the gap. wasn´t the first time a later FF got delayed, and an older FF came out of the blue... maybe that late CPU bug made it to reworked here. it´s a AAA grafics game, so they cannot effort bad performance :/

I'm not sure about the delay or what have you, but that's just me. Plus while it's an AAA game they obviously don't care since AMD users still need a User created mod just to play Nier automata and AMD users still have trouble rendering things in World of Final Fantasy (which is unacceptable for both of those issues to be going on for this long especially if they are a AAA studio.)

i think i´ve heard it was mid feb, but maybe i was wrong. anyway, 12 here now shows there´ll be some time till 15...
And Nvidia optimises it, so it wwill run badly on AMDs :p
