Granted, this is set in the 1890s and the huot wasn't invented until 1916, buuuuuut I guess you can argue that if there was a need for it in the 1890s it'd get made, maybe. The huot also had a 25 round mag instead of 15 and didn't fire several times even if you tap the trigger, so eh.
Yes, pretty cool! The avtomat used to have a magazine of 20 or 25 if I recall correctly. My memory doesn’t work as well at 5:30 :)
they use artistic license here and there, but every gun is based on a historical contemporary. The only other caveat being the bornheim, which is also slightly out of its time ingame. They nailed the rest as far as historical accuracy and function!
