insane lags while in main menu and in game too

my pc specs certainly do meet the minimum and more so I used to play the game with no problems before but now I'm experiencing a huge fps drop compared what it was before.

Hello! It's a very light game indeed. Did you check this page? I noted all the issues people encountered and we figured out so far. If you find the problem, let me know and I'll add it here. Yours made me remember "It takes 40 seconds for the game to open as a window. This issue is caused by Corsair keyboards like K55 or K70. i don't think I have some special keyboard or something and I didn't change much, but it stopped lagging suddenly

I have a theory that when I changed some video settings I might've fixed a bugged game config that may caused the slowdown, the only reason I find. I even maked a higher video settings to check it and it works perfectly fine
