Mission requiring .32 on all dwellers...
There is this mission that requires all dwellers sent on it to use .32 pistols. The problem, is that I've only found 2-3 damage .32 pistols, so the first group I sent with 15 stimpacks only lasted four rooms until I had to recall them (or they would have died).

Do you just have to hope you find better weapons in the first few rooms of this mission? I found a 5-6 rifle, but even with that it took literally 5 minutes to clear a small room of radroaches. Even if I bring 25 stimpacks, there is no way I can see to complete this.

What's the rub?

Are you level 50 ? with max endurance leveled up ? and +7 endurance gear on levelup ?

Then it is very easy all the quest. even if you had to go bare fisted into the quests.

You dont need to be 50 with max E to do this mission.

Just do the mission at the appropriate level or later, it's easy. you will be facing enemies that the .32 will be able to handle. If you find better weapons durring, then equip those. You only have to enter with required weapons. There will be plenty of these types, some will require certain outfits. One even requires the dweller has no outfit.

ps: Off the top of my head, can remember there being some missions that require laser pistols and laser rifes. Hold on to a few of each of these so you don't have to craft them or delay starting those missions.

Nope, I'm non-50, non-rush, non-get everyone stat's up... and it's worked so far; ~30 missions or so.

Even with a high A char (all those that did that mission had 2 maybe), I don't see how it's possible, unless it's strictly a health-check, which I guess makes sense since this is pay to play in essence.

Was hoping there was a 20 dmg .32 that I simply hadn't found yet.

maybe 6 dmg. Upgrade ppl stats, et halp quest combat. Diff is avg lvl so highest lvl(hp) has biggest advantage.

P2p HAO??!!!!!!

You should at least get agility up as it affects attack frequency, hence the damage output.

Also, you can change your weapon when you find other weapons during the mission.

Ok now I remember you. Your the guy that spouted off about it being stupid to raise the stats of the dwellers or to kick low E dwellers out of the vault that leveled up. Said it was a stupid waste of time, IIRC.

The .32 is like 1-3 damage and the rare is like 1-5. Three of the common version is plenty for that mission. Obviosly your not leveling up your questers with enough E if your are failing on that mission. Please continue telling yourself you are doing just fine with your low stat dwellers~

Instead of making excuses for your failure calling the game P2P, how about learning from your mistakes and try a different way.

Or you can follow this and not have issues with quests...
Raise EAL to 10 and SPCI to 6 on three level 1 dwellers. Equip them with the best E outfits you have along with good weapons and make them your questing team.

I had all on lvl50 with pistols(1 legendary), nearly no dmg from rats at all.

whenever it asks for a lame lower damage weapon I generally just slap a damage parrot on the dweller and hope for the best

I did it without a problem, however it went slowly. Make sure you always take max amount of dwellers, stim and radaway packs, and best pets to quests especially when they have you wear altered outfits or weapons. Difficulty of the mobs will be based on your dweller levels so lower levels can do it. That being said, if you have dwellers with low stats it's going to be harder than those with maxed stats. I'm not sure which I took for that mission but since it was crappy weaps I probably went with one of my groups of level 50 maxed stats and leveled up in E gear. Only taking 15 stims was a mistake. I've had some quests that really drained those packs when my questing groups weren't at max stats and that was with their best outfits and weapons. I had a one dweller quest in crap outfit have to kill off a total of 19 radscorpions on the quest in groups of 3 or 4 at a time never less than 3. So always be as prepared as you can be.

LOL

oh, ya the dumbass that said et okay not to raise hp because they still have 25% hp and you just have to stim a bunch.

Also, the idiot who kept trying to argue that rushing consistent was a good thing because et gave you 5 caps each time.
