Hey H1tSc4n and mikekmp,

8-Bit Armies: Arena was pulled because it mirrored the same game content that was already available in our other 8-Bit games.

Essentially after researching the data, we felt it was not contributing significantly (practically at all) to the overall user base so we decided to pull it.

However, as long as you already own Arena you can still play with any 8bit players since all 8 bit games (Armies, Hordes, and Invaders) play against each other, there should still be people to play.

If you find the need to want to chat about it, you could probably find one of us here on our Official 8Bit Discord: https://discord.gg/ygGFZxz

But it was a lot more convenient to buy arena if one only wanted multiplayer :(

I'd have merged it the other way; "8-Bit Arena" being a base game, then Armies, Invaders and Hordes being DLC for that game. That way, people could get the game, play multiplayer for free, buy a DLC for all the MP features, and/or buy the campaigns seperately if that's what they're after. No confusion about the cross-game multiplayer, either. None of my friends will ever pay the $15 when all they are interested in is the multiplayer. *shrug

Now that the game has been removed from the store, can I request a refund?

You still retain the content which you purchased, so unless you meet the other criteria for a refund, I would not expect so.

I've had that same problem with Android in the past. You can usually contact the app developer and sort something out.

From what I understand, such is the case with free to play games where you haven't made a purchase, but once you do, the game becomes somewhat linked with your steam account and therefore will always appear in your library.

Edit: Take 8-bit arena free, for example; it is no longer in my library. The purchased one remains, though I haven't had it uninstalled so far.

I purchased The Stomping Land, a game which was removed from the steam store quite some time ago. I have not had it installed since then, and it still appears in my library.
