DKS: Transition from Ego Draconis to Flames of Vengeance not working

Hello,

I bought the Dragon Knight Saga here on Steam. Once I completed Ego Draconis, a scene in Aleroth was shown and the credits were displayed. Afterwards I end up in the main menu again where I could create a new Flames of Vengeance game (with a new character).

I did some research and it seems that at the end of ED there should be a seamless transition to FoV. I went through the final boss fight for a few times, but the outcome was always the same. No transition to Flames of Vengeance.

Does anybody know what's wrong or what I can do to continue FoV with my char from ED?

It sounds like you completed FoV. The end of D2:ED is just after the Hall of Echoes, in the Plane of Hypnerotomachia; the start of FoV is getting out that location and returning to Aleroth.

Seems you're monitoring both forums :-) Thanks for helping me out! You're indeed right... the transition was so seamless I didn't even notice it and played right through FoV as well.

So all is well now, though my hope for more game time was in vain. Not complaining though, I got a good 80-90 hours out of it, that's awesome ;)
