Needs a frame limiter
I'm getting about 2400 frames per second, which is making my graphics card sad (high pitched noise and probably not very good for it either) and the game unplayable. Please implement some kind of frame limit.

Huh, that's not good! It should be capped at 60fps, not sure why that's not happening.

Can you post your OS version/graphics card details? And making sure that all your drivers are up-to-date would be a good idea.

I have a GTX970 on Win 7 (64bit). I've seen this problem before with other Unity releases. Usually devs were able to fix it quickly (meaning it hopefully isn't that hard to do). Unfortunately I don't know how they did it so I can't help you there.

Same issue here, Win 10 x64, GTX 960, recent driver.

for a temporary solution try forcing vsync in nvidia control panel, or you could use rivatuner to cap the fps

Same problem here, OSX Sierra 10.12.3, AMD Radeon R9 and Intel Iris Pro graphics cards. Not a big hardware expert so I don't know which one it's using, but basically a 2015 macbook pro

The vsync option in the control panel was the first thing I tried, but it doesn't seem to make any difference unfortunately.

Edit: Tried a few things: Nvidia control panel doesn't do anything (never does for Unity games), but Rivatuner is able to limit the frames.

Would still like a solution that doesn't need me to start and run an extra program in the background.

For anyone else that has experienced this issue: I have just updated the game with an automatic fix.
