Lazy Aspect Fix And HUD Fix v4.0.3 (HUD fix is here!)
v4.0.0 is out now!

New features in v4.0.0
  • HUD fix!!! Yes, after all this time, the HUD is fixed. Except the loading screen. Though everything else is fine. Working on the loading screen :P

Planned work for v5
  • DX12 does not work - No work planned. The API is too unstable to support in this instance
  • Patching the game while DLSS is on casues graphical corruption - No work planned as I only own a 1080Ti
  • Loading screen is off centre - Work planned

Instructions

Download mod --> Extract to somewhere that doesn't need admin rights --> Open game --> Get to the main menu --> Open Lazy Aspect Fix --> Click "Patch"

I assume that to get this to be automated it would need to be some kind of injector like ReShade?

Also can you please add version number in the actual exe? I went to my game folder and redownloaded again because i thought 1.1 was an update :FFXIIImog:

This works with any aspect ratio but since the UI can't be changed yet I'm almost sure it's going to be cut on 4:3.

Yes, but you'll end up with an HUD that's in 16:9 format at the top of the screen:

Is there any way you can make it so this doesn't rely on extra files around it? I like the fact that the 1.0 is essentially a portable version so I just slap it whereever without having to have any other files. If it is too much of a hassle I can just throw it in the MHW directory and create a shortcut.
Dunno how much of a pain it is to code that kind of thing.
