Solo, do what you want. Multiplayer, turn that ♥♥♥♥ off or gtfo.

Cheats in this game doesnt really affect your overal gameplay or enjoyment, atleast thats how i see it.
I havent met many cheaters in this game (3 in total) and the quests/expeditions i was in wasnt really negatively affected by them.

In terms of using a trainer or cheats myself... No.
Because it would take the fun out of the game.
Even if it were only for max zenny or whatever i still wouldnt do it.

Call me stupid but i wouldnt feel that the gear i made with that money had been earned.
And i want to "earn the right to wear the gear that i make" so to speak.
Out of own principals.

If people want to use trainers, then let them use it. preferably in solo play, but aslong as it doesnt affect my gameplay or enjoyment, so if they just would use it for max zenny or something along those lines i dont care if they use it in multiplayer or not.
Aslong as they dont use godmode or 1 hit kill or something like that.

But personally i dont like to see cheaters in my quests.

The only thing they are doing as i see it is suck the fun out of their own gameplay when you would use such things.

Honestly, money isn't worth a whole lot nowadays. It's very easy to obtain it through a combination of mining in the guiding lands and spamming the Steamworks. However, if you're going to use one-shot mods (for some reason - you bought this game so you could monsters), keep that out of multiplayer.

The only one worth a sht load is RP (research points), and I cannot disagree with the ppl who use it, albeit not using it myself.

i agree with the fact that if its online as long as its minimul like max stamina i suppose dosnt ruin others fun then

If you are using it to boost any of your stats, why are you even playing. Giving yourself items is whatever, that's on you, but giving yourself infinite stamina or infinite health, why are you playing. Like, just give yourself one-shot kills and save yourself 12 minutes.

Yeah I agree with Gaston guy on this one.

I... don't think I ever really ran out of money? Sure I got low, but then I'm just selling all the steel eggs from the porgie, materials I have like more than 50 off, and the stuff thats just junk meant to be sold and am swimming in zenny again.

I like using something like damage meters and transmog (at least until I'm in iceborne endgame and can craft what I want) but imo having something like infinite money or modding in armour you don't have is just ruining what I want out of a game like monster hunter, sure the grind can be tedious, but then again the grind is the only thing that this game offers and cheating in stuff would just minimize the time I'm playing the game which in turn ruins the purpose of cheating something into the game as cheating is meant to enhance the gameplay in some form and not make me play less
My opinion is, game developers put a lot of effort into things that players aren't meant to really register.

Example being, Egg quests or find really difficult to locate mushrooms/flowers. The reason for these quests are so that you figure out the maps, where to locate special items on the maps and how to get into interesting areas that you might have completely being oblivious too that may be extremely immersive or enchanting

So the Zenny issue, you might not think it but the reason you're finding yourself running out of Zenny is because the developers don't want you going out and buying everything all the time, they want you to explore and find materials in the world or figure out the crafting system they have in place.

Another thing is "Research Points", with the argosy, your farm and all the other ways you spend these points, you can actually start running out pretty quickly, the reason the developers decided this, is so you can try to discover the best ways of obtaining or managing these points. (Also I'm at the end of Ice borne so before anyone says it, I know we have lots of research points and don't have to worry about the running out lol)

So with those insights I would say that not just for this game but for all games, cheating regardless of being the right or wrong way to play (it's really a preference or opinion unless it's effecting others ultimately) takes away from the path that the game designer has tried to show you so you can understand the game mechanics they've created or enjoy the game more overall

If you're gonna cheat why even play?

For some of us cheating can make the game more fun.

As long as it doesn't effect other players, I'm all for trainers/cheats

Yeah sure if you like 0 challenge. Overcoming the challenge is suppose to be the fun of the game, makes no sense to me why you would cheat in this game.

It took me over 50 tries to get my first kill on fatalis, but when I finally did it felt amazing. How does it feel to turn on your one shot cheats and one hit the monster? How does anyone find enjoyment in that?

there are ***wipes that try to "hide" their cheating by doing garbage like putting EVERY augment possible on a weapon at max tier.
