Question about layered armour *Iceborne Spoilers*

So I've been told that you unlock the low/high layered armour sets by getting minerals/bones/monster parts from the Guiding Lands however, for example, I have all the necessary parts to craft pukei pukei layered armour however it doesn't show up at the forge. What am I missing?

Note. I've only just unlocked the Guiding Lands

I believe those layered armours are connected to a certain annoying Monkey of doom update which is coming in March (I think) I know it is not long till that update comes and almost any armour can become layered.

I thought these layered armors was supposed to be here from the start of the PC version?

They couldn't even get the light weapon buff into the PC release version. We will have to wait a very long time for the layered armor sets.

Rajang update should be early February according to their site. We also get the RE2 stuff at the same time. https://www.monsterhunter.com/world-iceborne/pc/us/
