What equipment should I focus getting?
I am Master Rank 99 and I tried to do the Special Assignments that I have to battle Rajang, but he does so much damage while he has do much health.

The weapon I used was Beo Hatchets II dual weapon and the armor I used was Kulve Taroth's Beta set. I use Attack Charm III, Health Booster+ and Thunderproof Mantle+. Ice is his weakness and he uses electric attack.

These are the dual weapons I have at the moment:

Enduring Surrender Rank 11
Usurper's Fulgar+ Rank 11
Anja Twinrippers II rank 10
Kadachi Greathawks II Rank 10
Beo Hatchets II Rank 10
Crimson Viperclaws II Rank 10
Guild Palace Sabers Rank 10
Jyura Keenblades II Rank 10
Asefar al-Nasr I Ranks 9
Hulking Choppers I Rank 9
Chrome Cross III Rank 11
Wrath & Rancor Rank 6
Blood-drinker chainblade Rank 6
Diablos Club I Rank 6

I have more dual weapons but they are lower rank. I can't make any Rank 12 equipment, since I don't have the materials.

Change your charm to expert charm, attack is a trap, use affinity instead

I can't craft Expert Charm and I don't have it in my inventory. How do I get that charm?

LR odogaron parts iirc, or HR, don't remember which one

You can craft it, it is called master's charm for some reason.

So Master Charm is the one that I have to create and then upgrade it.

Did you upgrade your kulve taroth armor?
Weapons: try to get the frostfang barioth db, as long you dont have the kulve weapons
Armor: silver rathalos armor is nice for db, 4 set bonus will give your db a nice dmg boost
Popcorn is right: crit > attack

1st go fight ruiner nergigante to unlock lv7 guiding lands and mr100+ event quests like the tempered elder dragons

then go farm the event Kulve Taroth like there's no tomorrow to get the kjarr dbs

I don't think thunder proof mantle is all that useful. His lightning breath is easy to avoid and with evade extender his aerial spread shot isn't going to hit you much either. Rocksteady for roar and tremor immunity, and either vitality or evasion. You can eat for more resistance if you cannot spare a deco slot.

Try Kulve gloves and boots for critical boost and guts for his divebomb, the rest Teostra for master's touch. Or slay Nergigante and then AT Namielle for the belt and chest for extra elemental damage and comfiness.

He's only really weak to ice on his head, of you can't hit there consistently use a blast weapon instead.

I maxed out my Kulve Taroth armor level to maximum level. Yes I can farm frostfang barioth to get his dual blade weapon. I don't have Kulve weapons, yet at the moment.
So Silver Rathalos armor is good for Dual Blade that is good to know.

My Master Ranks is now 104, I beat Ruiner Nergigante. So now I should fight Tempered Elder Dragon from events and then focus on Kulve Taroth.

Keep in mind db are element based weapons that means you should

Max out crit
Max out element dmg
Use true critical element or at least critical element
Use min. 1x critical boost deco, better all 3

For defense, if you have problems to survive, use health boost and /or protection jewels
Optional you can also run evade extender and/or evade window

To rajang fight: You can "super man dive" rajangs divebomb, but you have to exercise it :)

3 pieces of teostra, 2 pieces of raging brachy, weapon from raging brachy (though for elemental there are likely better options), jewels for maximizing affinity and crit damage. Agitator charm is also really nice because it goes up to 5, becomes 7 with vbrachy and is relatively easy to get. Then focus on reaching health augment asap.
That's how I'm playing solo now, for multi with people ready to carry you, there's a lot more options I assume.

And then just get full fatalis and worry no more.
Unless you go for max elemental dps.

I think there are 4 good pre fatalis armor options:
Silver rath (best set bonus, but weak slotwise)
Teostra/Brachy (good overall, but no crit ele skill)
Savijva (high risk, high reward)
Nami gamma (you can dodge like a god, but less dmg)
Shifty Mario Jan 12, 2021 @ 4:01am
If you don't care about DPS:
Beo Hatchets (augment and custom upgrade for element) (slots: 2-1)
Fulgur (4-2)
Narga (4)
Narga (4)
Fulgur (4-1)
Narga (4-1)
Frost Charm (ice attack) or Thunder Charm (thunder resist)
This will give true razor sharp and up to 200 stamina. Eat for elemental resist. This build is far more than enough to take out Rajang and even Furious.

Don't care about rarity 12 yet. Vanilla Iceborne, rarity 10s were the strongest dual blades that can reach disgusting amount of elemental. In order of importance for DB: element>crit>attack.

I want to ask I can craft one piece of Fatalis armor, I was wondering what is better to craft Alpha or Beta? I assume Beta is better since it has more slots for Decorations.

I plan to craft Dragonbarbs first, but not sure which one Alpha or Beta.
