Will Fortify still work if I die with it then change after?

If I have Fortify in my build and I die to Alatreon, and I switch to a new elemental set with new gear, will I still keep Fortify that has already been activated?

I believe so IF the build you are switching to includes Fortify. I'm almost certain that if it doesn't, you lose Fortify.

this is correct. your new build needs the fortify effect in a slot or armor skill aswell. otherwise the effect drops. a small price to pay tough i would say.
