Will clutch claw gone if i don't buy Iceborne

I've played monster hunter world iceborne through family share from my brother's account and i'm planning to buy monster hunter world for myself. If I buy just the regular monster hunter without iceborne,will the clutch claw dissapear from my Character?

Most likely. But I don’t truely know. If it makes you feel better. There’s usually a thread a week going on about how the lerson wishes Capcom would remove/change the clutch claw.

Really? I like the mechanic of clutch claw tho,i thinking about buy iceborne just for the clutch claw TBH.

You won’t be able to use it however the monster will still do that stagger where you can use clutch claw to renew the timer and weakness exploit is still nerfed. You won’t have access to IB content including armor, story, weapons, monsters, etc. But all the iceborne changes will affect you.
