This game needs a contrast/brighness slider ingame.
Messing with the nvidia Ansel photo thing. You can add a contrast filter there (along with other stuff) and the game image looks a lot better when you bump up the contrast. Seems a bit washed out normally. (you can activiate "photo mode" by hitting Alt F2, for those nvidia owners)

Good find. I found that the game generally looks like there's a light brown filter over everything, and/or some film-grain. I found a way to fix it last patch and everything was gorgeous and vivid and beautiful, but now it's back and i forgot what I did.

Yeah I think it suffers from a low contrast issue. When it's bright outside you're gonna have a really harsh contrasts between light and shadow. I wish nvidia allowed you to set up custom color profiles per game.

Hey there i posted this a few days ago maybe this works for you :

"Hey Guys, for me the correct brightnes is one of the most important aspects of every game. It just looks wrong if its too dark or too bright and isurgerncy is bright AF. So you need to add this into your engine.ini

you can play with the Numbers. I think 2-3 is the most realistic in my eyes. You can find the engine.ini here :

Tell me your results there must be a few more commands for the engine.ini just google for Unreal Engine 4 commands :)

First game suffered from the same issue but funny enough.. it actually had a setting to tweak brightness. I think its just the devs wanting the game to look in a particular way.

MAEXFTW: Thanks a lot dude! :hooray::hooray::hooray:

That works great for me ... I've added the setting to my Engine.ini file and the game looks much much better now already! Just awesome! :JoeWheelerApproves:

A value of 3 looked too washed out for me, value 2 looked too dark so I tried 2.4 and I'm very happy with how it looks now:

I'm at work, but it would be nice to see some screenshots with that gamma tweak. ;)
