When are we likely to get a new patch NWI

Because i cant take much more of this its starting to really grind my gears.

All the games ive played today its been game after game of playing as the insurgents dont get me wrong i dont mind playing as them coz hell i like a good old school AK47 but damn i didnt spend over 3k coins on my security dude to never play as him.

When i have finally gotten to play as security Suicide hajis and regular joe hajis have been taken heads shots like champs and just will not die of course i die but they dont what kind of weatabix did they have for breakfast coz i want what they had.

The lag and random 6 second freezes ive had today aswell major pain in the AAA

Disconnections from servers at the last objective point resulting in the loss of XP earned.

Before anyone states the obvious yeah i know its a beta and betas have there issues but hot damn this game seems to be getting worse Beta or not.

The mistake here is the belief they could finish a brand new game from scratch in Unreal Engine in a year, however that doesn't make them incompetent. As far as I'm aware they only have source engine "mods" and Sandstorm is a much harder thing to do. This is a fact that most of the people who post this kind of stuff fail to realise. I'm almost 100% convinced that they will deliver, sooner or later and frankly I don't have an issue with later as long as they deliver.

True, no rush but just fyi though: coop is getting a bit boring (apart from being flawed) so I'm playing a bit less often already, have played it for 130+ hours now and there's only 1 gamemode and 4 maps so a roadmap or a (bi-)weekly status update would be very nice to have!

INS2014 had a roadmap on Trello (where we could even vote for stuff that should get priority!) ... does one exist for Sandstorm somewhere?

I hear you, I'd like more content asap also but they have a lot of work to do so to not get my hopes up I'm not expecting anything until november.

The version you are playing now will not get anymore patches. Until they have converted the engine to the new 4.2 and have it tested internally nothing new will be released to us. If the previous release schedule is any thing to go on, I would not expect anything new for a month at least.

It's hard to say when we'll exactly get one. I haven't heard any ETA yet.

Honestly, all I care about is performance and optimization. That is all I want.

I fully expect it to get worse before it gets better. I have no doubt things will get sorted. Beta tests are not for everyone.

Obviously, a major update is high anticipated and bug fixes / new features will be awesome. However, I rather the Devs take their time instead of bowing to pressure and push out an update thats not ready.

agreed i guess i just had higher expectations considering we have been wating for like a year a half ........ ive put in 98 hours have liked it so for so please dont curb stomp me for "just saying"

Everybody needs to calm the hell down!
It's a magnificent game and i have no trouble running the game at 100+ fps most of the times.
Bugs are destined to be in a brand new beta game. That didnt stop PUBG, did it?
I mean, no one is holding a gun to your head forcing you to play, come back in a few weeks and see what happens or keep playing the game. otherwise, try getting a refund. Quite simple really..
