The text for "New Military Tactics is, "May discard this card rom tableau to gain +3 Military this phase." Seems to be I should be able to discard the card whether I need the +3 military or not. But, I cannot figure out how to do so. Am I missing something, or is this a poorly phrased rule? Nothing in the phrasing of the card's effect prohibits discarding it even if the +3 military is not needed. Am I just not seeing how to declare that I wish to discard the card? Hi! Im considering buying this but i wonder if there is a playerbase for it? SteamDB cjarts are looking a bit sad, but i assume since its cross-platform playercount could be higher?

^ Topic. Empire v. Rebellion is pretty much my main game mode for a quick game vs. the AI, but I find after a few weeks of playing this game mode, the AI will seize up and the game will crash. Once it crashes like this, the game must be uninstalled and reinstalled through Steam to make it work. This is especially noticeable when playing using the Brink of War expansion - in that case I'm seeing the game crash within a few days of starting play. Does anybody know what's causing this, and how to fix it? M...
