Is there anyway to prevent this? Every single major-family that i take has the tree or dog problem right away. It don't matter which trees i put to their yard. This is a bad and annoying thing.
And about the pest control, i buy the rat trap and put a dog kennel to the yard, but it don't seem to be enough?
I'm very interested to know this too! I've put in mouse traps and all sorts and I just can't solve that complaint. It only happens with the neighborhood watch commander, and not regular majors. But I can't solve it.
Planting two Deciduous trees should solve this.
If you plant at least one Evergreen instead, they're gonna complain about it. You'll have to remove it and plant a Deciduous in it's place. Then they'll complain again saying that the Evergreen was better and you'll have to plant it back.
You have to put a rat trap on ALL the houses on that estate and a dog kennel for the complaining major.
Select your foreman and press "A" which is the shortcut for "destory an object or house" and then right-click on the tree. :)

I had the game for YEARS before someone clarified for me that you need fences above a certain strength before people stop complaining about their dog getting out.
