in the live server I tried every single video setting, but even with ultra low preset i get 10 F*%king fps.
i'm running pubg from an ssd. My pc specs are:
i7 3770k @stock frequences
gtx 1080
16Gb ram @1866MHz
the screen is an asus rog swift pg348q and i run the game at 3440x1440 @100hz and g-sync on.
would like to change resolution but the game doesn't allow me.
have fun with your chargeback, steam will lock your account after you do it :).
the singlethread performance is good for sure.. but it is not enough at the moment..
my 4690k @ 4.6 GHz is on the same level with the 7700k *Kabylake Cores. (a bit higher than a stock 7700)
i have around 70-110fps @ Ultra in 1080p
and inside a house around 60-70 sometimes 45..
they have to work on it...
win 7 pro 64bit
i7 6850k 6 core @4.0ghz (no overclock)
asus rog strix 1080 8GB ddr5x vram (no overclock)
64GB ram g-skill trident z ddr4 3000mhz (no overclock)
1TB samsung 960 pro nvme m.2 ssd (OS)
1TB samsung 850 pro 2.5 ssd (games)
western digital 4TB gold (storage)
all settings on ultra and running fullsreen, usually have the gpu capped @60fps, 1080p gpu cap stays at 60fps, uncapped i get games max fps which is currently 144fps, i can play in 4k aswell and get 50-55fps.
using a tv as my monitor which is a 55in 4k, have another 50in 1080p tv that i use on my laptop.
using a sony cx405 as a webcam and it plugs into a elgato hd 60 pro (pcie card).
streaming any game and i have no issues, no frame drops or anything and im streaming in 1080p60 at 3k bitrate for now till i get partnered and am allowed a higher bitrate, only thing i dont like so far about the stream is pixilation when viewing my own stream from a different pc.
IMO fps problem is only related to the game optimization.
I understand that developers prefers to add new content and optimize the whole game later, but they have to take care of this problem asap because a lot of people is having very low fps, and it is frustrating when the game is really far to be "playable"
no sorry, fps issues arent mainly a optimized or not game issue, plenty of other things can cause fps issues.
bad driver, bad windows update, misconfigured gpu settings, bottlenecking hardware, slow hardrive not loading textures ect..., bad/broken/malfunctioning hardware, overheating, dust, i can go on and on with this list :).
turn off any and everything xbox related in win10
game runs great for me :) and i bought and built a beast pc.
Duh you have like a 5000 dollar ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pc. You being able to run it perfectly on an insanely expensive computer does not equate to the game being properly optimized. It runs like trash for virutally all normal people. Sounds like you just want everyone to know about your hardware lol.
So do me a favor, play test server, that will be transfered to live on 20th december. Shut up.
yes ofc, but the op and a few others here have almost close to my specs and should be running fine and yes of optimization has a key role as they have to optimize for every different pc build, but some issues can be fixed with with their settings and other various problems relating to their pc's.
also like mentioned by others.. the test server version runs way better than the live server version, which in my case doesnt reflect much but the vast majority of players are reporting the test server version to be running great.
Every other game is working fine as always. i keep my gpu drivers up to date and windows 10 too. Pubg is installed in a samsung ssd so it should load textures fast enough. Temperatures are not a problem, i'm far away from dangerous temperatures.
i thought it could be a bottleneck caused by my cpu so i performed a 3dmark (time spy) benchmark and then Intel processor diagnostic tool.

3d mark results seems to be a little bit low compared to other users running i7 3770k but i don't think this causes bottlenecks.
