Is cheating honestly a big problem?

I have about 150 on PUBG and i have only come across 1 cheater ever, and that was a very long time ago. I havent seen any cheaters recently, but i see a lot of people complaining about it to no end. So I ask, is cheating really a big problem right now to you? Share your cheater experiences and how many hours you have played, im curious.

The 1 cheater i came across was when i was in a 1v1 at the very end and he shot me from under the ground. I ran around the very small circle (which was in a small piece of flat land) for 10 seconds looking for the guy, but all of a sudden there were gun shots coming from directly under my feet and i died.

The thing is that people are complaining about coming across cheaters left and rigt every single match, especially chinese cheaters...

Seen 2, one on squads and another on solo, both within this month actually and they seemed to have similar cheats, really precise aim and slightly faster movement speed and also seem to have lag switches as well, like I'd shoot them a ♥♥♥♥ ton and then they'd turn around and plaster my ass. idk.

That´s what they want you to think. That´s why they don´t use obvious hacks like aimbot.

Yea, hacks have advance, to avoid almost instant bans, the only real way to get a hacker banned unless they detect files ECT is video evidence, if it doesn't look like blatant aimbot then they cant do anything about it. the Aimbot will miss a few times (1/2 shots as a normal person would miss) then hit you in the head or torso the rest of the shots

No I win most of my games, ya know the funny thing is if i kill them and they're close enough I tell them I'm hacking.

well there are different cheaters some of them hide their cheat and avoid fire fights just staying away from other players and the other half is hunts you with their cheat . so just because you dont see obvious cheaters ingame that doesn't mean there few cheaters

Makes sense
