Find that hard to believe. :P RX 580 isn't much faster then a RX 480.
I bet if i get a RX 580 instead, it won't improve a thing.
How could it be RAM? i've played pubg with 8gb ram and a GTX 680 and got double the performance on medium settings.
There is one thing i can try is increasing the settings, i've heard lowest could make the game run worse.
So yea it must be on your end.

yes, but the optimization is crap right now, try afterburner and see the readings in game with it, btw you only have 6gb available, OS requires atleast 2Gb to operate, so you only have 6Gb free, that are the minimum required for the game.
use afterburner to see what you dealing with
This game is pro NVIDIA for sure.
I runned a R9 380 @ 40 fps minimum with 0 crashes.
Since I got my RX Vega, I run ALL games on Ultra, no crashes, 60fps min.
But with PUBG random fps, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ random crashes. If it's not fixed soon, I'm gonna uninstall this game. A "high-end" GPU can't run it the way it should / must be. That's total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ !!
Some friends run PUBG on GTX 6xx or higher, they get the fps that goes with their GPU but no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard crash at all...
Com'on devs...
I´m not sure about it, but i read somewhere that some engines has issues with the new RX vega gpu´s, is something about the new type of Vram "HBM2", or your issues is this or your CPU is bottlenecking
Nvidia is already releasing drivers for PUBG they have even added the replay option in game so Nvidia personally is optimising its cards for better experiences to it customers i think AMD needs to follow suite but they have not, only released one update for Vega for AMD cards.
I'm not flashing this card, my second should come back soon and then i'm selling both cards for a GTX 1080 or 1070 and be done with it.
Have no idea why mine is having a hard time running it when everyone else has no problems running it at 60+ fps.
Before the RX 480 i had a Asus ROG 780 TI Platinum, 80+ fps at all times on low settings.
I'll get back in and make a screenshot with MSi Afterburner showing all stats.
the gpu usage is normal at 99%, even on mine it runs at 99%, but i have more memory and core.
what driver version you running, and read what i write above?!
