Just 1 more DLC before we get Tropico Platinum Edition
I'm just guessing here, but there's been 4 more new DLC released:

Apocalypse, Academy, Propaganda, and Voodoo.

I don't really care for any of them, but I will get it if Kalypso releases a Platinum upgrade since I already have the Collectors Edition.

So since there have been 4 minor DLC, and they have been released steadily too, I'd say there's at least one more minor DLC or one more Major DLC (major being something like Modern Times), that will really revamp Tropico 4.

Although with 66% off each of the 4 DLC there really is such a little loss to being a completionist no matter how useless some of the stuff in the DLC are.

The reason why I think there is only going to be one more DLC is because the collectors edition had 6 minor DLC (Megalopolis, Vigilante, Pirate Heaven, Plantador, Junta, and Quick Dry Cement) and 1 Major DLC, Modern Times, and if I remember correctly Modern Times was released last.

But even if it's more than one, I realy do think its just around the corner considering how frequent the DLC releases have been. Hopefuly by the time the Steam Winter Sale is up, "Tropico 4 Platinum Edition" will be out and on sale.

I do agree with the fact that we need these DLC in a pack. Why
aren't they included in the collector edition yet ?? We need a complete version.....not a dlc hunt...
How long did it take for Kalypso to make a collector's edition after all of the old DLC was released?

Since we don't have the complete version yet, this is why I think there are still DLC waiting to be released.

They probably won't stop releasing dlc till tropico 5 comes out.
Well, I was thinking that we have 1 more DLC until we get the next "upgrade to get all the newer DLC at once pack" deal.

Does it really matter? I've bought all the updates until now for .99 cents or less each (excluding Modern Times update, which I bought on sale but can't remember how much I spent for it). I think it's worth 99 cents to play 2-3 hours worth of a new map. Maybe there will be a platinum version... maybe not. Either way, my 99 cents per 2-3 hours of gameplay was well spent.

What I don't understand is all the DLC crap they've tried to feed us (MT only exception) WHY is thre no DLC for new F'ing islands?! a very good question...I would like to see some interesting new islands. But we do have the community made islands (I think, I haven't really checked).

Id pay 19$ for an Island randomizer that didnt suck.

I don't really like to download things like mods or community made add-ons. They just don't work for me, I'm not tech savvy at all. I've been playing tropico a lot recently and I have just realized that a chosen map is ALWAYS the same. What I mean is on a chosen map the crop conditions, ores whatever is all the same everything. I'm sure tropico 3 randomized maps all the time. I think you get new islands with the modern times DLC. I recently got it and I'm sure there's maps I've never seen before. Frankly they should have a map editor like in tropico 2, (unsure if there's one in original tropico) and if you say that will make the game too easy, which tbf it already is I have but two words to say. God mode

There's way too many DLC's for this game imo + they're overpriced. Yes, I know can pick them up in a sale(which I might) but I feel £3-4 or whatever it is for one building & an almost useless trait + some random mission is crazy overpriced. I love the tropico series(played it since the first edition) but it has kind of annoyed me how much DLC has been pumped out for number 3 and 4.

The only one that was actually worth it imo was modern times. Was a really great addition to the game but everything else is greedily bloated in price.
eg: The juanto DLC for T4 was basically models already included in the game(look at the army camp) + 1 bunker & a mission...

Yea, They had to REMOVE the bunker and the plantation from the game in the early versions so that they could resell it to us. They already had the stuff!

Scavs! It's disgusting this DLC bs nowadays. Games are released half done or they think of DLC from day 1. Most DLC should be free or no higher than £2. You've already given them money for the game for christ sake. It's like buying a car and then, you want seats, wheels, lights, radio, seatbeats and the engine they're extra and will be available in a few months.
rant over.

DLC made me stop playing and loose interest in anything Kalipso related.
