It will be fine. If you doubt Warner Montreal you can always wait for Arkham 4 from Rocksteady which is closer than you think thanks to Conroy accidently leaking it out

i'm sorry, arkham asylum, fine, the title makes sense because you're in arkham asylum.
arkham city? fine, a portion of gotham is being used as arkham asylum's expansion in a sense.
arkham origins?!?!
it just feels to me like it has nothing to do with arkham asylum.
in fact, i don't think the makers care about the title of their own product anymore, they're just using a familiar name to market a familiar product.
but hey, the first two were good, if they stick to the formula, it couldn't possibly begin to bore people right? *cough* Call of duty *cough*

its a prequel made by another developer. and if its anything like the other prequels this year it wont be worth buying. allot of games this year where bad prequels.

it's called arkham origins because it tells the story of how some villians go insane causeing them to make arkham asylum to contain them.

so then, this is the fundamental reason for arkham being created in the first place?
I was under the impression that the asylum was created before batman's time.
though, i could be mistaken.
actually, mad dog was the whole reason the institute was made right?
so yeah, I think mad dog was around during batman's reign of terror, it might have been made during that point.
the original asylum had hidden recordings from the maker of the asylum which detailed arkham's obsession with the insane murderer of his...wife? i forget.
anywho, arkham got so fed up with mad dog that he murdered him in cold blood as a sort of "treatment" and arkham asylum spiraled out of control shortly after.

Origins will be sweet if they do a nice job with the story.... Gameplay will be awesome, I do not doubt that. And Batman is going to be in pristine shape.
If I buy another Batman game it will have to depart from the arkham story line and offer something new and engaging and feature a different charater besides batman to play for most of the game. The first two games were great but I don't feel an overwhelming need to buy a 3rd or 4th version of the same thing.

i think, that just maybe, the arkham thing is good for a third round, i'm not so sure they should be churning it out so quickly though, but even so, one more time is forgivable.
but for the love of god, if they come out with a third game called ARKHAM ARMAGEDDON-
lord, i'll know we're being trolled by then.

I wanted to know what happened in the end of Arkham City with all the other storylines we had going with Hush and so on but I am pumped for this game. I think its going to be great!

I would hardly trust the nose of a a mad man.. Mind you ;) However, I will partially agree that this installment will be fall short of a ROCKSTEADY produced game (That is an important distinction to make here). That's not to say it won't be bad, since it's still backed in part by WB-Montreal.

I feel as if this (prequel) installment of the series seriously needs to be overlooked by the time rocksteady comes out with the next batman game. If you notice from one of the teasers just recently released- Batman is now sporting a completely armored suit... Did he just decide that he wished to be more aerodynamic by the time the previous two games tell his story?? Even different voice actors? Such a disappointment.

Case and point, I think we are seeing Warner Brothers pushing an opportunity- and unfortunately too many people are in love with these games to be cautious about purchasing it. All we can hope is that they don't ruin the formula and that rocksteady can come back in time to resurrect a potential disappointment in the series.

I hope Arkham Origins blows the other two out of the water so we can have a year to year Batman game like the CoD kids.

I wish they would remove the stupid DRM from previous games when they release a new one. Or not have the drm at all. It inconveniences paying customers for no reason.
Clord Jun 11, 2013 @ 2:31am
Problem is that I want Batman to sound Batman and Joker to sound Joker. Basically consistency between titles in the same series. There is probably imitators who can pull that off but I doubth they would hire such guys for that game.

Looking forward to the game, honestly. Black Mask, Deathstroke, it bodes well for pulling other villains from the series. Until I see otherwise, I don't see a reason to doubt it.

The reason to doubt it is that it's not being made by the same people.
