Should the Weapon DLC be free, or $10?

I don't think the weapon dlc should be $10. Right now, the game is already it's already $24!!!!

as i heard it it costs because it wasn't originally planned for the game... and yeah $10 isn't that much so...

i mean 24 dollars is a pretty standard price for games like stormworks, and $10 for a dlc which adds weapons and a new gamemode is pretty good compared to the cost of a similar dlc for say a AAA game

Development costs money. It shouldn't be free. Code Monkeys need to eat, sleep and require love and attention... none of that is free.

In the scheme of thing $10 is nothing. Do an odd job (cut a lawn, rake leaves, clean a garage) if you are not employed. I'm not sure why the "new world" now thinks everything should be free.

yea it goes on sale every once in a while, so that is probs why, unless you paid for a aftermarket steam key or something sketchy like that

correct, they pay the costs through microtransactions, and would you prefer to have microtransactions or a $10 dlc?

also, to answer this, they simply want a way to earn more money, as the cost of development has likely gone up over time as the scope of the game expanded, and they do not want to raise the price of the main game for fear of community backlash, so a $10 dlc is one of the most logical ways of increasing income. Also, the devs have officially stated that it is because they did not want to divide the community by forcing people who do not want weapons to have weapons, but that is sort of a non-argument as those people can simply not use the weapons and turn off the conquest mode, but hey still a point to bring up
