screen resolution help

I set the game to the same resolution as my desktop but when I start it up the screen is stretched much bigger than the display can show. I have tried different resolutions and it always seems to happen, though if I don't play full screen it works fine (but I don't want to play in a window).

Any suggestions for fixing this problem?

Ok i was able to fix mine, find your amnesia application.exe in windows explorer, right click and go to properties, go to the compatibility tab, towards the bottom, check the "disable display scaling on high DPI settings" box, then click apply and ok and try to run it again. hope that helps you

I am having the same issue, but I can't find the "compatibility tab" you're speaking of. Was trying to play the ONLY custom I can seem to make work, White Night, and some of the names in the beginning credits were cut off and it does resolute my screen too wide. Yet, I'm looking for the information and I can't find it.....
