How to make your screen brighter

If you want a more calm experience playing Amnesia Dark Descent, set your gamma to 2. then while ingame, go to menu, options, then cancel. The screen should be brighter

Lol that was a pointless tip in my opinion. Mostly because I don't think most people want it that high. I have ie on 1-1.1. As soon as I go up to 1.4 it's way to bright for me. Higher the gamma to 2 would make it white for me lol.

Second of all because I think most people know how to change it anyway. Not hard to figure out especially not since they teach you about the gamma first time you start the game.

Thirdly because having it that bright kinda ruins the game experience. It is supposed to be dark for a reason.

i was trying to find a way to maike the main menu brighter because i modify my amnesia files and i accidentally stumbled apon this post

you can change the ambient lighting alpha in the game config to be higher but it can hurt your eyes

just use 0.1-9 variables dont go over board
