What would be a good pyro start build?

Hey, played DS1 a long time ago, and most played ds 2 and 3, as i never really used any sorcery or pyros, i would love to try that out, is there anything i should focus on?
Actually i still use the handaxe, but its a bit boring for me :<

PvE or PvP? PvP fire tempest(situational as hell)/greater combustion/black flame/power within. pyromancy gets boosts from any item that boosts sorcery as well. power within is a 40% damage boost for ALL types of damage, health drain is tiny, but keep an eye on your hp if it gets low, cause it will kill you.

If you're doing sorcery or pyro, dex is important to increase cast speed, which caps at 45 dex. For pyro all you really need is an "ascended +5 Pyromancy Flame", and some good Pyromancies. Just remember after you take your pyro flame to +15, you can ascend it further. If you don't know what I'm talking about google it.

So basically, a dex based weapon will fit nicely, as you need the dex for cast speed anyway. If you want to use a fun build, that is very powerful, take a look at this Chaos Blade Pyro build I made. It's probably my favorite DS build ever that I created. It is a lot of fun in PVE and PVP. When you run PVE use Ring of the Evil Eye if you feel the need. You probably won't need it due to the insane HP you will have. You can switch to Hornet Ring upon being invaded.

If you do decide that you like it, remember you should have 10 humanity at all times at the least. You can have more, but it won't help, but have less and you won't do as much damage.

For pyros, Chaos Fire Storm, Black Flame, and Power Within are all you need. You can use great combustion, if place of black flame, until you get it in the DLC.
