I received 2 dota gifts in my inventory. How can i use this?

if you got gifts as a big boxes in inventory, you actualy need keys to open those boxes (inside is always decorative stuff nothng that increases stats or similar) and those keys you get in Dota2 store. If you get presents as an independent item then just you need to find for what hero that item goes and equip it in inventory... good luck

when Valve folks do invite you in Dota2 you do get notification mail but you also should have in library of game, checked Dota 2 and Dota 2 test. If you dont have that lines in library yet you did not got invite... yet. Also it could be that invite you got needs activation in your inventory on steam but that is just biiiig maybe (I know when i got Civ V when I bought XCOM pre sale I needed to activate it in my inventory) but that activation was just simple double click...
PS there should be an option on them "send to friend as a gift" or something like that

You should look on option My Profile / My inventory there you should look there should be option to send it if you dont want to use it
But I dont remember not once that they sent more then one copy of key
But you do have to have steam installed to play Dota2 and your friend also but if the game is activated in your library alredy then it is bound to your account alredy... check steam inventory and try to send that to your friend
