1st time setup bug...

My Dota 2 is "performing first time setup" indefinetly since the update... when will this be fixed? couldnt play since 3 days now...

do you have any sort of ip blockers like peerblock? (even firewall configurations)

worked perfectly fine for months before this patch... seems like a lot of ppl have the same problem, but none of their posts got answered until now... quite lame from the developers

well try installing directx component 9c en verifying your game cache files worked for me

i got mine to work by running as administrator turns out it was downloading direct x

search your steam folder for DXSETUP file i found mine in my dota 2 folder if you don't find it download it from the internet just run it and u should be fine i still have to verify my game whilst it says the first time setup thing and it just starts without a problem hope this helps
