Odd Languages In Game - Can They be Reported?
First of all, I have done a little research on this topic and I can see that there's been a lot of talk on this subject already. However, I can't seem to find the answer for this, as most threads about this topic simply die before coming to a conclusion... That's why I'm writing this.

Going strait to the question: can I report players for chat abuse if they refuse to speak in the language(s) I selected when I started matchmaking?

The reason behind my question is that I have been facing this problem quite frequently. I'm really careful about choosing my native language [] when searching for games. However, more often than not I find myself trying to understand other languages while playing, particularly Spanish - or at least I think it's Spanish.

I understand DotA 2 is an international game and that I can be playing with all sorts of people. Also, I don't really mind if these people are indeed trying to coordinate their actions with the rest of the team - especially if they use the in game messages that are translated to every language like "[enemy] is missing" or "[my hero] will buy Radiance". I even forgive players that try to speak in English to comunicate with the rest of the team - I've been playing since DotA 1 so I'm used to English chat. So long as they are trying to contribute to the game, it's all fine with me.

What I can't forgive is when people don't even try! There are times where people simply start talking with me and assume I will understand their commands, then blame me and some times report me for not complying to their commands. Insults are very common in these cases... In other cases, they just start doing nonsenses and won't respond to even basic commands like "run away" or "defend this tower".

I thought that the answer for my question was "yes", until I searched the forums to find out that the "language selection" tool isn't actually separating players by preferred languages. So... What do you guys think?

No.
I think valve itself put teams from Brazil server against teams formed in another servers from SA.

But who knows how the matchmaking works.
