I will never buy anything on steam or from valve. You force me to update dota permanently for vanity based cosmetics. Sure I understand that 95 % of the guys on this server are F@ggots & need to dress up their digital characters in digital cloths so they can feel digital fullfillment. But I won't buy little digital dolls clothes to try & look cool. Neither will I buy a compendium. You force me to download BS!!!! @ $8/gig, since that is what the bandwidth to my availability cost me. So you see that I have to spend $20 on BULL..S..h>IT I WILL NEVER BUY!!!!, just so my dota is up to dat & I can play...SINCE...OH NO!!! I'm not allowed to play, if I don't have those dolls cloths on my machine.............. WHY!!! am I forced to download content, I WILL NEVER BUY!!! & actually dislike looking at. Can you not keep the compendium part of dota as a blank for me ? I don't want those cosmetics, nor playing a hero & winning a game so I can get a little empty digital trophy. Why is the concept of NOT forcing your ♥♥♥♥ down my mouth, so hard for you to grasp ? I don't want your little digital ♥♥♥♥....just dota...JUST THE GAME!!!! ONLY THE GAME.

regardless of if you use cosmetics or not you kinda need the files for them otherwise the game will act up in ways you wouldn't enjoy.

Do you honestly expect the developer of any game to address your concern (which is self inflicted because you’re using your cell phone to cut the cord) of the daily updates that this game requires? Further, you demand that they filter out the International content from the game and create DLC layers just to meet your demands?

Couple of things I find wrong about this thread
1) Paying that much per gig of data for your home internet? Jesus ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ christ
2) Valve doesn't read these forums for reasons that are obvious
3) Even if they did, they probably wouldn't take notes from people swearing and being angry at them instead of calmly explaining the situation and finding a middle ground solution.
