Can you win the Ransome contest?

No matter what options I pick for Ransome, he loses. I have chosen bad answers for the other contestants, tried to get the smell out of the room thinking the one guy might stay and laugh and have even put the other playable characters all the the room to see if they would laugh, but they just leave.

Is there a way to win, or is all a big joke?

Winning the contest would enable Ransome to get a plastic surgery or a toy deal, which is something he so desperately wants. He's cursed though, so that's not meant to happen. This part is linear, so no other outcome is possible.

Hope you haven't lost a lot of time by trying all these things - nice ideas, though. :)

Yeah. I saw a video of the outcome. I always reloaded whenever someone else won. I saw he gets a record, which I already know what to do with I have already figured out how to lure the DJ away. I just didn't have the record before.
