Disable Auctions

is there any way to disable the auctions if I pass on a property? never played monopoly where the property goes to auction and would just want to have it off playing the original rules.

I believe the only time you can pass on a property rather than auction it off is if you select the "Rent and Auctions" choice when setting up your game.
