The Golf Club 2 will no longer be available for sale from Maximum Games after June 30th, 2020.
Users who purchased the title before this date will continue to be able to access the game as normal.

What will be the alternative?
I still create courses in this version. What will happen after June 30th? Can I still publish from this version? How can people after the ultimate date play my courses?

Can I upload my "old courses" to any newer version? Is there a newer version coming? What's the future for The Golf Club?

im also wondering if this puts Golf Club 1 and Golf Club VR at risk.

Worth buying? Will multiplayer still work?

Yeah, what will this mean for the online component? Will be able to host and join our friends' games?

I doubt Golf Club 1 and VR are at risk because the publisher for both those titles is HB Studios (The dev team.) This game is published by Maximum games and it looks like they've decided to stop selling it. It will be interesting to see if HB Studios will put it back up eventually self publishing like the others.

Now on sale at 90% discounted price until 10 July tho?

This honestly doesn't make sense. If they don't want to support the game any more then fine but to not allow purchase?

I don't get it, either. It can't even be a licensing thing, can it? This one doesn't even have licensed stuff in it.

From the bottom of the store page near system requirements, it states

Ah, okay, well that makes sense.

Selling DLC that doesnt make any changes to the game as far as I can see. Is this a last minute grab the money, we out now?

Im starting to see this with a lot of games. I guess to those who want to pad their 'service' with older titles for a small $$$$ and exclude for others is a thing now? I mean it makes no sense, especially when a new title is on the horizon, to remove it.

WHAT? I had added it to my cart (haven't bought anything yet since the start of the sale, i'm still looking around for more games)
Why would you do this during a steam sale and not wait for when it was over :(?
