Games become a powerpoint presentation

I have a 4090, 13th gen i9 etc (basically my pc is more than capable of running literally any game) and it was completely fine until yesterday

Since yesterday, i launch the game and for the first minute or two, it runs completely fine then after a couple of minutes of running, it's literally becoming a powerpoint presentation, even in the settings / options menu etc

Does anyone have any ideas???

Having similar issues where I seem to be getting random lag spikes in some missions. Sometimes the game runs flawlessly, and other times I'm getting 10 FPS if I'm lucky... Adjusting graphics settings doesn't seem to do anything either.

I've been trying to find a fix, if i do end up finding something, i'll let you know though

But my issue isn't sometimes, before it was fine all the time and now, even in the spaceship, it turns into a powerpoint presentation after 2 minutes EVERY TIME i launch

I have decent framerate on 1080(mid-low settings, 1080p), so you should not be having any issues unless something is wrong. Check your CPU and GPU temp, might be an overheating issue; check drivers as well, just in case.

Also, try lowering your settings & resolution to see if that will make any difference(not very likely, givrn your hardware, but might be worth a try).

Thank you for the suggestions I've tried that and nothings working, every other game i play works completely fine and the problem only started yesterday on Helldivers 2, it's weird, it's also happening in the options menu

Things i've tried:
- Reinstalled Game
- Reinstalled the Anticheat
- Verified game files
- Checked CPU, Memory etc usage, temp etc
- Ran a Memory Diagnostic
- Checked if any background processes running
- Checked internet connection and closed down all browser tabs just in case
- Checked for any malware
- Checked all my drivers and if they were up to date
- Tried changing in game graphics settings
- Restarted PC
- Checked if firewall was the issue
- Tried disabling AntiVirus
- Various steam command lines such as trying to force it into using dx11

I think the devs just need to sort out a fix, they must have released a hotfix to fix one thing that's caused my issues xD
