what happens if i kill 100 enemies using flamethrower?

also, major order is to contain the terminid outbreak? how do i know if im doing that quest?

Tbh its not "worth it" though you will swim in req soon. Flamethrower is trash weapon and youll probably earn medals faster by finishing missions fast using actually decent weapon.

You can find the flame thrower planetside if you have not unlocked it yet, but it is quite rare. It took me around 10 missions to find the flame thrower just 3 times on bug worlds. If you are patient you can save your funds and complete the personal mission anyway. The medals are absolutely worth the effort.

Keep in mind the achievement is 100 enemies in the same mission while I think the "quest" is just a total over X number of missions.

The major order/mission/operation/whatever is afaik any mission done on a specific bug planet.. has a crosshair above it? Think the name of it is in the order as well.
